The Upper Trinity Regional Water District
The Upper Trinity Regional Water District (UTRWD) was created by the State
legislature in 1989 to provide quality, affordable water, wastewater, and
related services to more than 30 communities throughout Denton County and
limited areas in Collin and Dallas Counties.
The District is composed of 25 member communities, including cities, towns,
and utility districts throughout Denton County. A quasi-governmental agency,
the District is subject to minimal oversight by the State of Texas, local elected
officials, or the public.
The Upper Trinity Regional Water District generally meets at 12:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at 900 North Kealy in Lewisville. Please call 972.219.1228 to confirm the date and time prior to attending the meeting.
