The State Legislature created the Upper Trinity Regional Water District to serve the water needs of the residents, businesses, and communities of Denton County. The Upper Trinity Regional Water District generally meets at 12:30 p.m. on the first Thursday of each month at 900 North Kealy in Lewisville. Please call 972.219.1228 to confirm the date and time prior to attending the meeting. The Denton County Commissioners Court generally meets at 9 a.m. every Tuesday at 1450 E. McKinney Street in Denton. Please call 940.349.2010 to confirm the date and time prior to attending the meeting. It is also advisable to monitor local city/town council agendas as Upper Trinity Regional Water District items are often considered and discussed. Check with your local municipality for information regarding council meeting times, dates, and agendas.
Voting is one of the most effective ways to ensure that those who are elected
to represent you and secure an affordable water supply for Denton County
are truly acting in your best interest. If you believe your local, county,
and state elected officials are not adequately addressing your Upper Trinity
Regional Water District concerns, make them aware of the issues and let
them know that it will affect your future voting decisions.
